My approach to therapy is open and accepting of anyone that comes to see me. I am naturally curious and enjoy hearing your story that makes you unique. I believe that everyone has their own individual strengths, that are often born out of struggle. I also believe that the mind has the ability to heal naturally from trauma, once the barriers are taken out. My goal is to help you remove the barriers, so that healing can occur, leading to a more functional life. A life of authenticity and calm.
Why EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is one of the most researched and evidence-based therapies for trauma related conditions, particularly PTSD. Although most common for PTSD, EMDR is also effective for treating other mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, and even some chronic pain conditions.
